After the decontamination and washing stage, presented in the first part, we move on to the key preparation phase, cleaning, polishing and degreasing the paint, which directly affect the quality and durability of the ADBL Protect Shield PPF application.

Preparing the element
Each body element requires an individual approach. Before you start polishing, protect adjacent surfaces with masking tape, prepare appropriate lighting and tools.Correct exposure of the side light allows you to detect micro-scratches and residues from previous cleaning steps.Thorough surface cleaning
After chemical and mechanical decontamination, the paint should be thoroughly cleaned to remove the film of products, lubricants and paste residues. Use ADBL Cleaner or IPA in the right concentration to achieve a completely sterile surface. This ensures maximum adhesion of the film adhesive and eliminates the risk of the edges peeling off.

Cleaning of crevices and cavities
Contamination from door recesses, gaskets and hinges is one of the main causes of application defects. Before polishing, thoroughly clean these areas with a detailing brush and ADBL APC.It is worth using compressed air to dry and flush contaminants from hard-to-reach places.Finishing polishing
This stage is not aimed at a complete correction of the paintwork, but only at smoothing it and removing micro-defects.Use a gentle finishing paste and a soft pad for a perfectly smooth surface. This ensures that the PPF film adheres evenly and does not create micro-spaces of air under the surface.
